Lead Teacher (Infants, Toddlers, Pre-K)Full-time position in Fremont, OH, US.
Salary: $14.00–$21.00 per hour (based on experience, education, and responsibilities).
We are seeking a full-time Lead Teacher to guide and support children as they prepare for Kindergarten. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, values play-based learning, and wants a stable, consistent schedule in a supportive early childhood environment.
Typical daytime schedule within center hours of 5:30 AM–5:30 PM. Serving children 6 weeks–11 years.
Reggio-inspired & play-based philosophy. Focus on early literacy, social-emotional development, and curiosity-driven learning for Pre‑K. Focus on nurturing relationships, curiosity, and development for Infants/Toddlers.
Collaborative team environment with supportive leadership.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Create engaging lesson plans that support early literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s growth and development.
- Communicate regularly with families and build strong partnerships.
- Maintain required classroom records (attendance, lesson plans, daily reports).
- Support Step Up To Quality standards and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent program quality.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to complete required trainings (CPR, First Aid, AED, Child Abuse Prevention).
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in a childcare or early childhood setting.
- Familiarity with early learning standards and Kindergarten readiness (Pre‑K) or experience working with infants and/or toddlers.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to actively supervise children throughout the day (reasonable accommodations available).
