-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide. We are currently searching for Engineering Intern to join our team at our Auria Fremont Plant in Fremont, Ohio.

• Support engineering change requests
• Participate in cost saving projects and responsible for reporting
• Assist with product launches to achieve timeline milestones for production
• Support continuous improvement activities through time study evaluation, machinery implementation, machinery modification, and plant layout design changes.
• Participate in Kaizen events
• Learn ways to provide technical support to skilled trades and operations related to downtime and machine throughput issues.
• Help ensure all contractors are following the plant safety rules.
• Support required actions based on results from Global Safety Audit
• Participate in corrective actions regarding machine safety issues as requested.
• Other activities as assigned by Manager

• Actively pursuing degree in Engineering
• Requires experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
