Job Summary:
A Registered Sonographer can play a key role in assisting the physician in diagnosing and treating a patient will perform ultrasound procedures, educate the patient about the procedure, and answer any questions they or their family might this role, you will help the physician with physician-performed ultrasound-guided procedures and may train/educate/evaluate new or student sonographers.

REQUIREMENTS Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Must be registered as a diagnostic sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and must maintain active registry status. If not registered, must become registered within one year.
