Human Resource Director

As our new Human Resource Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department and supporting the overall success of our organization.

- Communicate with department heads concerning payroll matters
- Remove and close out terminated employee's personnel file from active employment records when terminated. Notify payroll company.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files with all relevant information
- Assist employees in obtaining information concerning their payroll data, deductions, overtime, etc., as necessary
- Assist with the administration of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Leave of Absence (LOA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Maintain OSHA 300a form
- Ensure timely reporting and response to workmen's compensation and unemployment requests
- Post and respond to job openings for all departments
- Set up interviews and files (including TB, Physical, Registry Check, Fingerprint log, Covid test) for new hires
- Ensure onboarding process is completed, including reviewing employee manual and confirming employee understands and signs all necessary paperwork
- Track overtime and ensure accurate payroll submission
- Verify timekeeping information with schedule and research and correct payroll inaccuracies
- Address employee concerns and report to administrator as needed
- Review benefits with employees, including 401k, life insurance, salary increases, PTO changes, and health insurance
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, payroll, or a related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks effectively
