Position Summary

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, Area Managers serve as the point of contact and provide direction to personnel. The position is based in the Port Clinton Area, covering a 25-mile radius including Fremont, Port Clinton, Woodville, Oak Harbor, and Marblehead. Must be available to work predominantly Monday-Friday, 2nd shift, on-site in various locations, with flexibility on weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage employees at designated locations.
  • Communicate expectations, monitor, coach, develop, and train employees.
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Establish strategic goals based on business, service, and operations information; evaluate trends and options; define objectives; assess outcomes.
  • Build and maintain employee morale, motivation, and loyalty.
  • Oversee daily operations across all assigned locations.
  • Manage budgeted hours versus actual hours; handle staffing needs, absences, turnover, and relocations.
  • Continuously coach staff and share best practices.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels within the coverage area.
Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills and experience coaching and mentoring
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with technology such as smartphones and computers
