We are seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This individual will be responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement while ensuring operational goals are achieved. The Production Manager will lead and develop production teams, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate cross‑functionally to support overall plant performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Manage, coach, and develop production supervisors and hourly team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Develop workforce capabilities through training, accountability, and performance management.
  • Support production planning and scheduling efforts to ensure customer demands are met.
  • Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Experience managing supervisors and hourly work forces in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, labor management, and operational metrics.
  • Proven track record of driving improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Preferred Experience
  • High‑volume manufacturing environments.
  • Leading cross‑functional teams and plant‑wide improvement initiatives.
  • Employee development and succession planning.
