Envases Ohio is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician (PMT) to take ownership of our high-speed Draw & Redraw (DRD) manufacturing equipment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving complex mechanical challenges, and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
As a PMT, you will play a critical role in maintaining equipment performance, supporting production goals, and ensuring we deliver high-quality food-grade packaging products to our customers.
What You’ll Do- Operate, set up, and support high-speed Draw & Redraw (DRD) manufacturing equipment
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Complete machine changeovers, tooling adjustments, and equipment setups
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro‑mechanical issues
- Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to improve reliability and efficiency
- Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and quality documentation
- Follow strict food safety, GMP, and safety standards in a regulated manufacturing environment
Requirements
What We’re Looking For- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2–4 years of experience working with industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, or maintenance systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Hands‑on experience with presses, tooling, hydraulics, pneumatics, or automated equipment
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documents
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electro‑Mechanical Technology, or related field
- Experience with Draw & Redraw (DRD) presses or high-speed metal packaging equipment
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, and automated manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP requirements, or BRCGS standards

Schedule flexibility is required, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, or schedule adjustments based on production needs. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
