- Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Responsibilities of RN or LPN Unit Manager:- Supervise and lead the nursing team to ensure high‑quality resident care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with physicians, families, and staff.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Oversee medication administration, treatments, and accurate documentation.
- Monitor residents’ health and adjust care plans as needed.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development for nursing staff.
- Foster teamwork and effective communication across departments.
- Maintain proper staffing levels and assist with scheduling.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions.
- Support quality improvement, infection control, and compliance initiatives.
- Participate in care conferences and family meetings to update and educate.
