Security Officer - Part Time Checkpoint

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, access control protocols, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.;
Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing and recovering visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing foot and vehicle traffic to approved areas.;
Screen and coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries by checking shipping documentation, confirming driver identification, and communicating with operations staff regarding dock and yard access.;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns for reporting and follow-up.
