The FCS Transportation Department is currently accepting applications for a Fleet Mechanic. This position is paid 8 hours per day, starting at 5:30 a.m. Starting pay is $24.28 per hour.
QUALIFICATIONS- High School Diploma
- Associate degree in automotive/diesel fleet maintenance preferred, or equal job experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in all fields of preventive maintenance to motor vehicles.
- Must have a current and valid Ohio Commercial Driver’s License with a Class B endorsement as well as an “S” and “P” endorsement.
- Active bus driver certificate from ODE.
- Obtain successful results from a prescribed driver physical.
- Have the ability to acquire/pass passenger endorsement within six months.
