This is a "bridge" role designed for an accountant who wants to move beyond basic bookkeeping into high-level professional services. You will receive direct mentorship and hands-on experience in:

• Tax: Preparation and planning for individuals and diverse business entities.
• Financial Statements: Preparing complex GAAP-compliant reports and general ledger management.
• Audit & Assurance: Assisting in the audit process and workflow verification.

• Maintain accurate general ledgers and perform month-end closing procedures.
• Prepare federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support audit engagements, including document testing and internal control reviews.
• Collaborate directly with senior CPAs on client strategy and process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3+ years in a professional accounting environment (Public accounting experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate).
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software (Quick Books, Engagement Manager and Lacerte)
• Ability to work on-site at our Fresno office (Shaw Ave).
