Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant III to join their team in Fresno County. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work with a focus on payroll, accounts payable, and day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Accounts payable functions, including vendor invoices, reconciliations, and timely payments.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate records to support audits and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payroll and AP processes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in payroll software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
