Accounting Support​/AP Backup

We’re a 100+ employee construction firm seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional to provide essential accounting and administrative support
. This role allows our senior accounting staff to focus on higher-level tasks while you ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly.

• High-volume data entry and transactional processing in Accounts Payable
• Communicate professionally with vendors, suppliers, and customers
• Order office supplies and track inventory
• General administrative support: filing, scanning, copying
• Help keep our accounting department organized and efficient

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook preferred)
• Ability to multitask and handle interruptions calmly
• Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive
• Takes pride in completing foundational accounting tasks correctly

This is a support-focused position with structured responsibilities. While it is not a senior role, strong performance can lead to increased responsibilities over time, making it an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on accounting experience in a stable, growing company.

$20–$25/hr, depending on experience
