The Job Details:
  • This role is part of the regional Accounting team and is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong month-end close processes. As a Staff Accountant, you'll be hands-on with journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and cross-functional support for field operations. This position offers excellent exposure to core accounting activities and the opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performing a wide range of professional accounting duties to support the accounting function of the region.
  • Prepare and review complex journal entries for month-end and year-end close.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze recurring journal entries.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
  • Assist with the month-end, year-end, and budget process.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.
  • Prepare documentation for auditors.
  • Prepare accurate month-end reports and financial analysis.
  • Maintain and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly P&L, providing variance explanations.
  • Support field locations in resolving accounting-related issues.
  • Record and deposit incoming checks.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Complete additional assignments as directed by the Accounting Manager.

What We Are Looking For:The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Qualifications:
    • 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate or public accounting.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Experience with ERP accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Net Suite) preferred.
