Super Care Health (SCH) is the foremost post‑acute, in‑home respiratory care provider in the Western U.S., dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of our expanding patient population for nearly 50 years. We specialize in respiratory and chronic disease management and have recently launched a Diabetes division, further expanding our comprehensive healthcare services.

This is a hybrid role reporting to our City of Industry headquarters, 2 days per week.

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of Super Care Health’s financial records and supporting accurate, timely financial reporting. This position is responsible for complex account reconciliations, month‑end close processes, and continuous improvement of accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to partner cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for asset, liability, revenue, and expense accounts
• Lead critical aspects of the month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights and recommendations to management
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and budget‑vs‑actual analyses

• Perform and review complex account reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved timely
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls by documenting and improving accounting processes and procedures
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, and company policies

• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency through automation and best practices
• Support implementation of new accounting standards, policies, and system enhancements (including ERP improvements)
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Billing, Revenue Cycle, Operations) to ensure accurate financial data flow

• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
• Ensure financial records are audit‑ready and compliant with regulatory requirements

• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis, reporting, and project support as needed
• Handle sensitive financial information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, accruals, and account reconciliation best practices
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite strongly preferred)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Healthcare or home health industry experience is a plus
