Audit Senior Associate

We are seeking an Audit Senior Associate to provide industry‑focused audit and assurance services to middle‑market clients. The responsibilities, qualifications and compensation are outlined below.

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various assurance and consulting services to industry‑specific clients.
• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather needed information to complete testing and respond to questions raised.
• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on client’s balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in discussions with the Manager and Partner regarding business recommendations derived from testing and information gathered.
• Learn and grow from on‑the‑job coaching and mentoring, and by participating in firm‑wide learning and development programs.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with clients.
• Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals.

• 4‑year degree, license eligible.
• CPA preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience providing audit services within a public accounting firm.
• Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative and adaptability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Compensation ranges by location (actual compensation depends on factors such as experience, qualifications and geographic location).

• In Fresno (CA) and Stockton (CA): $79,400 to $108,900
• In Rancho Cordova/Sacramento (CA): $91,000 to $145,350
• In Salinas (CA): $86,000 to $118,800
