The Role

As a senior leader within the tax practice, you will oversee both technical tax work and client advisory relationships while helping guide the development of the firm's tax team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing tax compliance and planning for business entities, high-net-worth individuals, and estates
  • Reviewing and approving complex tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients
  • Mentoring and developing staff and managers within the tax department
  • Maintaining and strengthening long-term client relationships
  • Staying current with federal and state tax law changes and implementing best practices
  • Supporting firm leadership with practice growth and operational improvements
Qualifications
  • CPA license required

  • 10+ years of public accounting tax experience

  • Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations

  • Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing engagements

  • Proven leadership ability and experience mentoring staff

  • Excellent client relationship and advisory skills

  • Master's in Taxation (preferred but not required)
