We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse client base, mentor staff, and contribute to the continued success of the firm. The estimated salary range is $110,000-$150,000 annually
, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Prepare and review tax returns and supporting work papers for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and other entities.
- Research complex tax issues and provide practical solutions and recommendations.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Prepare tax extensions and quarterly estimated tax calculations.
- Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Review staff work, provide training and mentorship, and support professional development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
- Assist with special projects and other accounting or consulting engagements as assigned.
- Minimum of four (4) years of public accounting tax experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience supervising and mentoring staff.
- Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Proficient in Excel and Adobe
- Ability to adapt to changing technology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex information
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA license preferred.
