Job Summary
A Fresno-based accounting and auditing services firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a tax professional with strong technical expertise in tax preparation, compliance, research, and strategic tax planning for individuals and businesses.
The Tax Manager will play a key role in reviewing complex returns, advising clients, supporting audit matters, and mentoring junior accounting staff. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review detailed federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic tax planning and advisory recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, filing requirements, and reporting standards.
- Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Mentor, train, and supervise junior staff accountants.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate, integrated tax solutions for clients.
- Salary range: $80,000 to $150,000 per year.
