A well-established and growing Fresno CPA firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join its team. You'll work directly with experienced managers and partners, handle interesting and diverse tax work, and continue developing your technical and client-facing skills—all within a firm that values having a life outside of work.

Diverse, Interesting Clients Work with privately held businesses, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals across industries including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, professional services, and real estate.

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns
• Handle increasingly complex tax engagements
• Identify tax planning opportunities for clients
• Communicate directly with clients to resolve questions and gather information
• Assist with year-round tax planning and advisory projects
• Review selected work prepared by staff accountants
• Help mentor and develop less-experienced team members
• Work closely with Managers and Partners on complex client matters
• Stay current on federal and California tax developments

• Approximately 4–7+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong individual and business tax preparation experience
• Experience with increasingly complex returns and tax issues
• Strong organizational and deadline-management skills
• Professional communication and client-service abilities
• CPA license or progress toward licensure is preferred, but not required for the right candidate
• Interest in continuing to develop professionally and take on greater responsibility
