We are partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee its accounting operations and support the organization’s financial goals. Salary Range: $100,000–$120,000

Overview of the Accounting Manager Role:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and organizational policies
- Coordinate audit preparation and work closely with external auditors
- Partner with leadership and department managers on budgeting and financial planning
- Monitor financial activity and provide insights into trends, variances, and opportunities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
- Ensure accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and reconciliations
- Support process improvements and help strengthen the organization’s accounting and financial procedures
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or senior-level accounting experience
- Nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and audit processes
- Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
