Overview

The contract clerk performs a wide range of administrative duties such as post new and used car deals in accounting, pay offs, schedule reconciliations and vehicle documentation. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude. Someone who enjoys working in a team and understands the importance of their work and how it affects the productivity of others. Strong attention to detail and organization is necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Process new and used vehicle contracts timely and accurately
  • Verify the costs and transactions for each vehicle sale
  • Review and ensure accuracy of all incentives, rebates, and sales tax in the deal
  • Process all payoffs on trades, including any payoff differences
  • Process and follow all necessary steps for rollbacks
  • Journal daily bank funding
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Make accounting adjustments as needed and maintain clean schedules on a weekly basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

The approximate pay range for this position is $21.00-$24.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as the geographic location of the position.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Detail oriented and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Time management-ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time
  • Computer skills, specifically Excel a plus, Google sheets and typing skills
  • Must have minimum 2 years’ experience in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of CDK and/or Lightspeed a plus
  • Motorsports industry experience a PLUS
