Academic Records Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I) Compensation & Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $4,047 - $4,211 per month (Steps 1-3). Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,047 - $5,896 per month.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), probationary, non-exempt position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision plans; membership in CalPERS; sick and vacation time; 15 paid holidays; fee waiver education program.
Job SummaryUnder the general supervision of the University Registrar and the Assistant Registrar of Academic Records, the coordinator handles a range of moderate to complex clerical and technical assignments, such as processing retroactive withdrawals, updating academic standing, student information, enrollment verifications, grade corrections, and incomplete grade extensions. The coordinator provides customer service to faculty, staff, students, and the public, and assists with incoming and outgoing electronic transcript processing.
The Records team processes all official transcripts.
- Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing, and draft correspondence and reports
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, able to work as part of a team with others within and outside the university
- Learn and interpret a wide variety of complex policies and procedures and support the mission of the department, school, and university
- Independently organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and projects
- Use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages
- Completion of a high school diploma, technical/vocational program or equivalent, combined with three years of general office experience
