Position: Academic Records Coordinator (ASC I)

Academic Records Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I) Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $4,047 – $4,211 per month (Steps 1–3)

Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,047 – $5,896 per month

  • This is a full-time (equivalent to 40 hours per week), probationary, non-exempt position.

This position offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental, and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays per year. Eligible employees can also participate in the fee waiver education program.

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the University Registrar and Assistant Registrar of Academic Records, the coordinator performs a wide range of moderate to complex clerical and technical assignments. Responsibilities include processing retroactive withdrawals, academic standing updates, student information updates, enrollment verifications, grade corrections, incomplete grade extensions, and other student record or grade related forms. The role also provides customer service to faculty, staff, students, and the general public, and assists the Assistant Registrar of Records with incoming and outgoing electronic transcript processing.

  • Independently organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and projects.
  • Use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages.
Education and Experience
  • Completion of a high school diploma, technical/vocational program, or their equivalent combined with three years of general office experience.

This will require the filing of a Statement of Economic Interest on an annual basis and the completion of training within six (6) months of assuming office and every two (2) years thereafter.
