Hospice Administrative Volunteer

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking to make a positive impact? We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to assist with office tasks and help the hospice care organization with our day-to-day tasks. If you haven’t done any administrative work before, don’t worry. Our hospice organization will provide you with training before you begin. The most important thing is to be enthusiastic and excited about helping the hospice care organization with their community outreach and administrative tasks.

Volunteers....

• are non-medical
• do not participate in patient feeding
• do not providing direct care
• do not help administer patients medications.

Main duties of a volunteer are to...

• assist Volunteer Coordinator with information tracking
• make copies for our Hospice team
• support our birthday and bereavement programs
• help put together information packets and mailers
• filing, photocopying, and assisting with mailings
• participate in special events geared towards patient care

Office is open M-F 8:00am - 5:00 pm.
