Under the general direction of the Director of the Diagnostic Center Central (DCC) and as a member of the Administrative Team, the Business Service Officer-III (BSO-lll) plans, organizes, directs, and supervises all business and facility functions for the Center.
The Center is owned by the Department of Education and does not receive any Department of General Services (DGS). The BSO-lll ensures that operations function at maximum levels of efficiency, safety and in compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations. The BSO-lll promotes a quality service orientation with all staff that reflects the mission, goals, and values of the California Department of Education.
