Experienced SMOG Technician Pay: $25.00 - $70.00 Flat Rate

We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll DoPerform California Smog Check inspections following state regulations.

Conduct emissions testing and diagnose emissions-related concerns.

Complete repairs necessary to bring vehicles into compliance when applicable.

Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.

Perform vehicle inspections and communicate repair recommendations to service advisors.

Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You'll Bring Current California Smog Inspector License (required).Smog Repair License is a favorable.
3+ years of previous dealership or high-volume automotive repair experience.

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are favorable.

Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Total Rewards The Flat Rate Pay Range for this position is $25.00 - $70.00.This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on production productivity.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
