Clark Bros. Inc. (CBI) is seeking a highly detail-oriented professional with experience in Payroll, Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll compliance. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to California Prevailing Wage laws, Federal Davis‑Bacon requirements, and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and confident working with project teams and subcontractors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Process weekly payroll for approximately 150 union and nonunion employees.
- Review certified payroll reports from subcontractors for compliance with both project requirements and federal, state, and local requirements.
- Prepare accurate in-house certified payroll reports using Sage
100 Contractor. - Submit certified payroll reports to various compliance programs including the DIR, LCP Tracker, etc.
- Prepare Pre‑job compliance documents including DAS 140 and DAS 142.
- Advise project managers on wage compliance matters including subcontractor requirements and documentation.
- Communicate directly with subcontractors as needed to ensure understanding of project specific reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with third‑party compliance firms, respond to payroll RFIs and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct routine project audits to resolve noncompliance issues and identify potential exposure risk.

Compensation:$28 - $30/hour
