Overview
The VP of Partnership Development drives business growth by leading sales strategy, securing new and renewal contracts, and managing client relationships. This role is accountable for proposal development and marketing efforts within their territory. The VP oversees strategic execution, supports sales teams, and provides territory insights to executive leadership. They manage the sales pipeline and ensure all activities are documented in Salesforce.
The position requires significant travel and direct involvement in high‑level presentations and competitive positioning.
This position requires CA residency – remote with high travel expectations throughout all of CA.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation:
Bachelor's degree required and/or related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in consultative sales and team leadership.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage strategic sales initiatives and processes.
- Preferred background in healthcare or corrections, with experience securing business through RFPs, bid processes, and/or working with government agencies.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across functional teams.
- Strong networks and relationships with key players in the correctional industry desired.

- Lead territory strategy, sales growth, and client relationship development.
- Own proposal and RFP processes from start to finish, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Forecast revenue, analyze business performance, and present strategic updates to leadership.
- Mentor sales and marketing staff while ensuring CRM accuracy and process compliance.
- Oversee marketing initiatives and attend site visits to support business development.
