A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice focuses on upper middle market and large-cap private equity firms, offering services in mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and related operational improvement.
Responsibilities- Provide service excellence by identifying key client issues, determining needs, and developing recommendations using standard assessment techniques and innovative approaches.
- Lead work streams or a focus area within the Integration Management Office (IMO) – Synergies, TSAs, Blueprinting, Day 1 Readiness, Executive Reporting, Integration Roadmap, Communications, Organizational Design, depending on deal size.
- Directors lead and deliver large, complex engagements for PE clients and portfolio companies, designing and implementing creative business and technology solutions.
- Plan and execute Day 1 and Day 100 activities to drive performance improvement in key areas (strategic planning, operational optimization, back-office consolidation, supply chain, IT/reports integration, customer and channel management).
- Drive performance improvement assessments across the enterprise and oversee implementation of recommendations.
- Track progress against Day 1 and Day 100 objectives and adjust integration strategies or resources as required.
- 5-8+ years of professional consulting experience in merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
- Experience in integration planning and divestitures is a plus but not required.
- Experience leading one or more work streams in business transformation.

Salesforce effectiveness;
Marketing optimization;
Pricing/Margin/Mix optimization;
Knowledge Management and Transfer;
Program management and leadership. - MBA preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; initiative and drive; critical thinking; flexibility to travel at least 75% of the time.

- Full-time and part-time positions; salary range approximately $125,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on education, experience, and geography.
