• Clark Bros., Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent for our Renewable Energy Division.
• It is crucial to have experience and the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, enthusiastic, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

• Provide coordination, planning, and supervision to assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities in a designated discipline area.
• Coordinate grading and civil work within the scope of the renewable energy project; ensure high-quality execution of civil portions, including mass grading, fine grading, excavation, trenching, and backfill operations.
• Provide drawing, constructability, and submittal reviews and feedback with the engineering team; verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship conform to specifications and contract documents.
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager on crew and equipment sizing, haul routes, compaction requirements, and site utilization plans.
• Assist in developing project schedules and updates, and create 3-week look-aheads.
• Supervise and ensure quality control of grading and civil work, including self-performed and subcontracted operations.
• Oversee site preparation activities such as erosion control, stormwater management, access roads, and foundations support areas.
• Attend project meetings and act as liaison between field engineers and contractors or craft workers to ensure civil components comply with drawings and specifications.

• Experience reading and interpreting civil drawings, grading plans, and construction documents.
• 5+ years of construction experience with a track record on large-scale grading or civil infrastructure projects, preferably in renewable energy or utility-scale work.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to earthwork, heavy equipment operations, and trenching activities.
• Completion of OSHA 30 preferred, but not required.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be willing and able to travel and be on site as the onsite Superintendent.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000
