Steel Building Construction Superintendent in Madera, CA – Traveling

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

We are a respected construction partner delivering pre‑engineered building solutions for commercial and industrial clients. We seek an experienced Construction Superintendent who will oversee all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning and scheduling to final inspections and quality control. The role requires deep understanding of pre‑engineered metal buildings (PEMB) and supervisory experience in erection projects, and will involve traveling for months at a time.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
• Supervise a mid to large crew, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of PEMB and ensure proper installation procedures are followed.
• Establish and maintain effective positive relationships with all project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and manage their tasks effectively.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, regional, and local laws and regulations.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed on the construction site.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and plans effectively.
• Solve arising problems or delays in the construction process.

• Minimum five years of experience in a construction supervisory role, specifically with pre‑engineered metal buildings (PEMB) and erection projects.
• Proven experience managing mid to large crews.
• Excellent understanding of construction management processes, methods, and means.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and risk management.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software.
• Exceptional ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and plans.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of federal, state, regional, and local construction laws and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning and site management.
• Proven experience in subcontractor management.
