This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Superintendent
- Construction, Commercial with RMC Constructors, located in Vallejo, CA. The Project Superintendent will oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from start to finish, including coordinating schedules, managing on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and enforcing safety protocols. Additional responsibilities include monitoring budgets, resolving project challenges, and maintaining clear communication with clients, architects, and engineers to successfully meet project goals.
- Experience in commercial construction and managing large-scale projects in compliance with industry standards
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, contractor coordination, and fostering a positive working environment
- Knowledge of quality control practices to ensure projects meet required specifications and high standards
- Understanding of construction safety protocols and implementing safety measures to maintain a secure work environment
- Proficiency in budgeting and project cost management to deliver projects on time and within financial constraints
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and team members
- Experience with modern project management software or tools is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred
- Relevant certifications in construction, project management, or safety (e.g., OSHA certification, PMP) are highly desirable
