This is a temporary to hire opportunity working full-time hours; 7 AM - 4 PM Monday through Friday with some overtime as needed.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consulting Construction Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that all contracts are managed effectively and all projects are executed within budget. The successful candidate will have a strong background in contract management, budgeting, and subcontractor oversight, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.

This role requires a strong understanding of construction industry knowledge, contract laws, public works, prevailing wage, and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of construction contracts, from initiation to completion.
  • Develop, negotiate, and finalize construction contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting for projects, ensuring that all costs are accurately tracked and managed.
  • Qualify and oversee subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Support the bid process, providing accurate and timely information to help secure new projects.
  • Maintain logs and tracking systems, ensuring that all project details are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Support Project Managers in the execution of projects, providing administrative assistance and problem-solving support as required.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are kept informed of project progress.
  • Ensure proper project closeout documentation, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  • Keep accurate records of all contract activities, ensuring that all information is stored securely and easily accessible.
  • Solve problems quickly and effectively, using resourcefulness and industry knowledge to overcome challenges.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong contract management skills, with a detailed understanding of contract laws.
  • Solid budgeting skills, with the ability to manage costs effectively.
  • Experience qualifying and overseeing subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • A keen eye for accuracy, with the ability to maintain detailed logs and tracking systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to use these tools to manage contracts and track project progress.
