• A degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of experience in the footwear industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, Office, and Excel.
• Knowledge of line building, footwear construction, fit, and materials.
• The ability to be creative while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Proven ability to identify trends and deliver results in the fast-fashion market.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse groups and overseas vendors at all levels.
• Ability to travel for meetings and shows.

• As a Footwear Designer, you will be responsible for specific aspects of the footwear business, from designing and executing designs to contributing to seasonal trends and revamping previous season’s best sellers.
• Develop quarterly trend stories and direction, providing trend overviews, must-haves, color palettes, and material sourcing that align with each brand.
• Create designs that support line plans, assortment strategies, and price points consistent with current market trends and brand images.
• Present monthly line builds and ensure the feasibility of all developments for sampling and production.
• Drive sketches and assortment presentations to sales, production teams, and occasionally to outside buyers.
• Create design sketches and tech packs using Adobe Illustrator, keeping style information updated for internal records and overseas vendors.
• Collaborate with developers in China, adhering to product development and production schedules to ensure samples meet deadlines.
• Foster strong relationships with sales, production, and overseas coordinators and vendors.
