Our retail client's in-house Studio is seeking a Line Producer with a production-first skill set to serve as the operational anchor for Style Social. This is a production management role focused on the mechanical, logistical, and financial realities of executing creative content across fashion, beauty, and home.

While a baseline creative/maker sensibility is valued, this role prioritizes elite production toolkits over content creation. As the Line Producer, you are an operational master who owns the production pipeline-managing budgets, schedules, unions, crews, and post-production workflows. You will partner with writers, art directors, creators, and editors, translating big creative ideas into tightly managed, high-efficiency physical and digital productions.

Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
1. Production Leadership & Execution (Primary Focus)
  • Operational Control:
Own the end-to-end line production process for social-first static, video, and digital campaigns, ensuring complex multi-deliverable packages land on time and on budget.
  • On-Set Protocols:
Act as the primary production lead on set for studio and location shoots across LA and NY/NJ studio zones. Apply deep technical knowledge of broadcast, high-end editorial, and run-and-gun formats.
  • Crew & Union Management:
Leverage an existing network of elite LA/NY crews. Direct and manage union and non-union talent/crew, with a working command of SAG, DGA, and IATSE contracts and AICP/AICE bidding guidelines.
  • Post-Production Oversight:
Supervise post-production pipelines, motion graphics, sound design, retouching, color grading, and CGI deliverables with strict attention to technical specs and delivery formats.
  • Legal & Business Affairs:
Partner with Business Affairs and legal teams to negotiate usage rights, oversee talent procurement costs, ensure compliance, and maximize production spend optimization.
2. Systems, Efficiency & Fiscal Management
  • Budget & Bidding Ownership:
Build, track, and reconcile production budgets. Develop baseline and benchmark costs to measure fiscal impact year over year.
  • Workflow Optimization:
Scope, build, and enforce production processes that allow the studio to move faster and smarter without compromising safety or quality.
  • Cross-Production Integration:
Collaborate with external and third‑party (3P) production teams to capture social content alongside massive enterprise campaigns, ensuring seamless logistics and minimal friction on set.
  • Sample & Inventory Logistics:
Oversee physical product workflows, including sample procurement, item tracking, and prop/set logistics.
3. Creative Partnership (Secondary Focus)
  • Creative Scoping:
Translate creative vision into actionable shoot plans, balancing high‑concept design with realistic production constraints.
  • Maker Technicals:
Utilize foundational technical knowledge of video, static lighting, and basic editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Cap Cut) to bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution.
  • Trend Awareness:
Stay current on cultural, design, and social platform mechanics to efficiently advise creative teams on what is logistically feasible for trending content.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

3-5 years of hands-on line production experience within an agency, brand social team, digital publication, or production company.
  • Production Mastery:
Proven track record of managing physical productions (studio and location) within major studio zones (LA and NY/NJ).
  • Labor & Contracts:
Deep working knowledge of union guidelines (SAG-AFTRA, DGA, IATSE) and industry bidding standards (AICP/AICE).
  • Technical Rigor:
Expert understanding of static and video deliverables, multi-format workflows, post-production engines, and file management.
  • Software Tools:
    • Operations & Project Management:
Airtable, Figma, Slack, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace.
    • Production/Post Awareness:
Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere), Cap Cut.
