We are seeking a Reservation Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity with a faith-based travel management company in Fresno, CA. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping travelers, managing detailed reservation information, and delivering a high level of service by phone and email.
The Reservation Coordinator will support travelers throughout the booking process, including answering questions, entering reservations, processing payments, auditing details for accuracy, and following up on requests. Key Responsibilities- Answer traveler phone calls and emails while providing friendly, accurate, and professional service.
- Create, update, audit, and manage traveler reservations using reservation software.
- Enter passenger profiles, cabin assignments, hotel reservations, dining preferences, special requests, and celebration details.
- Process traveler payments, monitor overdue balances, and follow up with travelers as needed.
- Research destinations, supplier inventory, cruise ships, ports, venues, and points of interest to stay current on travel offerings.
- Maintain waitlists, process online reservations, handle brochure requests, and support follow-up with prospective travelers.

- Provide traveler service by phone and email, including answering questions and resolving booking-related needs.
- Process and audit reservations, passenger profiles, cabin assignments, hotel details, and traveler preferences.
- Monitor traveler payments, overdue balances, waitlists, online reservations, and follow-up communication.
- Research destinations and supplier information to support accurate traveler guidance.
- 1 to 2 years of related customer service, call center, reservations, travel, or administrative support experience.
- Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Google documents.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative, critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellent traveler service.
- Ability to maintain an orderly work area and adhere to attendance and punctuality expectations.
- College degree preferred.
- Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, transportation, cruise reservations, or a related service environment preferred.
- Familiarity with reservation software or travel booking systems preferred.
- Interest in destinations, cruise travel, group travel, and supplier inventory preferred.
