Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is working with a facility in Fresno, California, is seeking a Board-Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their team as an Obstetrics Hospitalist. This Locum and Locum-to-Perm opportunity provides is a great way to 'test the waters' before signing a contract. This is a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in a supportive Level II NICU environment, utilizing EPIC EMR and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

• 5 6 twenty-four-hour shifts per month (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)

• Both weekday and weekend shifts required (same 24-hour schedule)

• Holiday shifts available with premium pay

• Average 4 5 deliveries per 24-hour shift (majority vaginal deliveries, 25% C-sections)

• No on-call responsibilities

• Care for patients daily (inpatient, outpatient, rounds, clinic)

• Supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital team

• Level II NICU facility

• EMR: EPIC

• Initial and secondary interviews conducted virtually (Teams/Zoom)

• Competitive compensation (based on experience and training)

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Board Eligible not accepted)

• Delivery experience required (vaginal deliveries & C-sections)

• Active and unrestricted:

  • State Medical License (or active application in progress)

  • DEA License

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• COVID-19 vaccination required per facility policy

• 1 5 years of relevant OB/GYN practice experience (not required)

• Fellowship not required

• New graduates, candidates who are only board-eligible, or those with lapsed board certification, are not eligible.

• Candidates with malpractice or licensing issues may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
