Quiq Labs is hiring After School Program (ASP) Mentors to support our instructors and help deliver exciting enrichment activities for students. This is a hands‑on, high‑energy role working directly with children in a classroom environment.

As an After School Program (ASP) Mentor, you will support the implementation of Quiq Labs enrichment lessons and assist instructors with classroom activities, student engagement, and equipment management.
Mentors work under the direction of the Quiq Labs ASP Instructor and program leadership, collaborating with school staff and students to ensure a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment.
This role requires strong attention to student needs, flexibility, and the ability to step in with positive solutions when challenges arise.
Schedule2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Flexibility available (perfect for college students)
Key ResponsibilitiesASP Mentors support classroom learning and student engagement by:
- Preparing and transporting equipment (load, manage, and unload supply cart)
- Coordinating daily plans with the ASP Instructor to confirm lesson needs
- Providing classroom support by distributing materials and assisting students
- Facilitating learning by moving around the room, observing, supporting, and encouraging participation
- Collecting and organizing equipment at the end of each session
When students are working independently or there is downtime, mentors will:
- Sanitize and clean items used during the day
- Review the to‑do list and complete remaining tasks
- Ask instructors if there is anything else they need support with
Driver Support
Some mentors may also assist with driving responsibilities, including:
- Knowing the correct school location and directions
- Managing departure time and travel planning
- Accounting for loading/unloading, setup time, and traffic
Reminder: “Start time” refers to being fully set up and ready in the classroom—not just arriving at the school.
QualificationsExperience working with children is preferred (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, volunteering, etc.), but not required.

Starting Pay: $20/hour
