JOB DESCRIPTION ELEMENTS TO REVIEW POSITION REQUIREMENTS. Only those meeting the position requirements will move forward for review. Two Letters of Reference are REQUIRED. It is recommended that Letters of Reference be authored by professional affiliations and specific to the open position. Submit one (1) of the following as credential copy:
1. Valid California Preliminary/Clear Education Specialist Mild/Moderate Disabilities or Moderate/Severe Credential or Valid Level I/Level II Education Specialist Moderate/Severe Credential or Valid Level I/Level II Mild/Moderate Credential with added authorization in Special Education in Autism Spectrum Disorders or eligibility to be granted a permit authorizing teaching of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
2. Willingness to apply for a Special Education Limited Assignment Permit in Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs) and enroll in classes to obtain Extensive Support Needs authorization. Or willingness to apply for Special Education Limited Assignment Permit in Mild/Moderate and enroll in classes to obtain that authorization.
3. Letter from your University Internship office stating eligibility or University Internship credential with Special Education authorization applicable to the posted position; OR 4. Bachelor's Degree in an academic subject area from an accredited University, meeting California Basic Education Skills requirement (CBEST) and a note/letter expressing interest in applying for this specific position, indicating the commitment to immediately enroll in a University credential program in the area of Special Education authorization applicable to the posted position.

School sites are subject to change. Salary Placement:
The successful applicant will be placed on the appropriate salary schedule based on the range of the position being filled. The successful applicant will be placed on Step 1 unless given credit for prior verified related professional experience. Applicant shall provide all related professional experience on application materials to complete the years of experience verification. All of the following documents are required for this position:
