Teach Social Studies to secondary level students, develop curriculum, assess student learning, support a diverse community, and comply with educational standards.

• California credential authorizing instruction in social science at the secondary level.
• English Learners Authorization.
• CPR certification meeting standards of the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross (required by AB 2345).

Knowledge of and ability to implement the subject matter, philosophical, social, and educational concepts related to the duties and responsibilities of this position.
