The successful candidate will teach graduate students at the master's and doctoral degree levels; advise students in cohort expectations, fieldwork, and culminating experiences, including doctoral dissertations; supervise administrator internships; conduct research and write grants in the field of educational leadership; and engage in service-related activities in the field, community, and across the university setting.
Qualifications- Required
Education:
An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in educational leadership, or organizational leadership with emphasis at the P12 level, or other related area from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent. Applicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered; however, for appointment, the doctorate must be completed by August 1, 2026. - Required Experience:Teaching experience at the P12 level and/or higher education level;
Leadership experience as a P12 administrator;
Demonstrated knowledge of state-level and national-level educational policies, current issues, and trends in P12 education. - Preferred Qualifications:The candidate holds a current cleared administrative services credential or equivalent;
California preferred. Evidence of scholarship, such as publications and/or presentations at the state and/or national level. Expertise that contributes to our understanding of P12 educational leadership, including (but not limited to): school, district, or community leadership; school improvement; and/or organizational development.
