Teach Industrial Technology courses, including but not limited to the following list of classes:
- IT 74 Manufacturing Processes
- IT 103 Nut Processing
Instructors are responsible for preparation, delivery, proctoring, grading, and all scheduled teaching activities in accordance with university policies.
Appointment ConditionsAppointment is conditional on budget and enrollment considerations and subject to the collective bargaining agreement Order of Work. Applicants must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
CompensationSalary commensurate with qualifications within the CSU salary range (Class Code 2358). Temporary Faculty with a Master's degree: $5,507‑6,677 per month (15 WTUs). Salary adjusted based on WTUs assigned each term.
Appointment TermPool positions are maintained for two academic terms. The number of positions varies each semester. Start dates:
Fall 2026 (August 19 – December 22, 2026);
Spring 2027 (January 15 – May 26, 2027).
- Master’s degree in Industrial Technology or related field with emphasis in manufacturing/production.
- Or Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology or related field and at least ten years of industry experience in the United States.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse student, faculty, and staff populations.
- Expertise in a discipline closely related to the department.
- Commitment to undergraduate teaching excellence, evidenced by prior teaching experience or evaluations.
- Successful undergraduate teaching experience.
- Experience with computers, machinery, and manufacturing processes.
