Responsibilities
  • The ELD Coordinator supports the implementation of the school's English Learner (EL) program by collaborating with teachers, administrators, students, and families to promote student achievement and English language development.
  • The coordinator monitors EL student progress, analyzes data, supports instructional practices, coordinates program activities, and ensures compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • The ELD Coordinator serves as a resource for staff and may provide direct support to students to help them develop English proficiency and achieve academic success.
Qualifications
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    Any combination equivalent to a bachelor’s degree and three years of classroom teaching experience at the appropriate level.
  • LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
    Valid California teaching credential authorizing instruction at the appropriate level. (Single Subject English Credential preferred)
