High School Science Teacher / Advisor
BPEA is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Science Teacher / Advisor to join our team, teaching across grades 9–12 in a dynamic and student-centered environment. This position requires the ability to teach Earth Science, Biology, and Physics or Chemistry, providing students with a well-rounded science education throughout their high school journey. At BPEA, you will guide students through a multi-year educational experience by implementing standards-aligned curriculum integrated with formal Learning Plans and Learning Through Internships (LTI) experiences.
You will work closely with families, collaborate with school staff, and mentor students toward graduation and successful post-secondary transitions. If you are committed to fostering curiosity and academic growth in science, we encourage you to apply!
This position requires the ability to teach Earth Science, Biology, and Physics or Chemistry across grades 9-12. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-Bachelor's Degree or higher LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION
-Valid California Teaching Credential(s)
-TB Clearance or Risk Assessment (Ed.Code 49406)
-Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Backgrounds Clearance(Ed. Code 44237)
