The Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) applicants.

Appointed for the 2026-27 academic year. Anticipated appointment dates are:

  • Fall 2026:
    August 19, 2026 – December 22, 2026
  • Spring 2027:
    January 15, 2027 – May 26, 2027

Hours: 0–20 hours per week.

Job Duties
  • Maintain and submit student records/grades.
  • Evaluate student assignments.
  • Attend class lectures.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 units.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence built on merit, talent, diversity, accessibility, and equal opportunity for all.
Salary

Salary range starts at $17.86 per hour. Base salary is set by the department.
