Financial Educator

Status:

  • Temporary PT
  • Maximum 200 hours

Job Overview

As a Financial Educator, you will develop, design, and present financial workshops to community members on topics such as personal budgeting, banking, credit building, and debt reduction. You will work directly with participants to increase their knowledge of financial services and help them achieve their financial goals.

Career Nexus is seeking a passionate and dedicated Financial Educator to join our team in Fresno, CA. As a Financial Educator, you will have the opportunity to empower community members by providing valuable financial education and guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Present financial workshops on various topics including budgeting, banking, credit, and more

  • Ensure participants complete required training and track their progress

  • Coordinate outreach efforts with banks and community partners

  • Maintain accurate records of participant data and outcomes

  • Build and maintain relationships with colleagues and community members

  • Attend community events and initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with participants

  • Knowledge of personal financial management is a plus

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Suite

  • Valid driver’s license
