Paraprofessional

Specific Responsibilities:
Assist students by reviewing and reinforcing basic instruction assigned by a classroom teacher. Assist individuals or small groups of students in teacher-directed learning activities. Participates in required in-service training. Confers with teacher/supervisor for the purpose of assisting with informal evaluation of students' progress and/or implementing specific objectives based on students' needs. Monitors, supports, and assists with the implementation of teacher-directed positive behavior plans that create student independence, motivation, and self-esteem.

Implements the district discipline plan. Monitors student activities on the playground and in the cafeteria. Other duties as assigned.
