Temporary Faculty Pool - Lecturer in Agricultural Business

We are looking for qualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Agricultural Business and related topics. The successful applicant will create a well‑prepared workforce for the agricultural industry.

• Prepare, deliver, and grade lectures, assignments, quizzes, class projects, and exams.
• Conduct office hours and provide student support.
• Adhere to and implement university policies and system‑wide guidelines.
• Ensure all classes are offered and meet as scheduled throughout the semester, in the mode assigned (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid).

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, within the CSU Salary Schedule (Class Code 2358). For a Master’s degree holder, the range is approximately $5,507–$6,677 per month for a full‑time load (15 WTUs). The short‑term nature of appointments is explained by budget and enrollment considerations.

• Positions are added to the pool as needs arise and may vary each semester.
• Appointment periods typically begin shortly before the start of the academic term.
• Faculty may remain in the pool beyond two terms by reapplying.

• Master’s degree in Agricultural Business or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds.

• Commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, demonstrated through prior teaching experience and evaluations.
• Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• Experience in an educational discipline and demonstrated ability in student development.
