Position Description
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) applicants.
The department reserves the right to choose the most qualified candidate for each position and assign Instructional Student Assistant to courses suitable for the department program and curriculum in any semester. Due to staff and curriculum changes, courses offered may vary, and no guarantee of employment from semester to semester can be made.

Hours
: 0-20 hours per week.
Job Duties may include the following, but will depend upon the specific course and the needs of the faculty member in charge:
- Provide instructional support to assigned instructor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department by grading papers in a variety of courses, and/or perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in consultation with an appropriate faculty member.
- Evaluate student assignments.
- Maintain/submit student records (e.g. grades).
Qualifications:
- Currently seeking senior status students in a Bachelor's degree program, or currently seeking successful admitted Master's degree students.
- Successful grading experience at the undergraduate level and/or graduate level.
- Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff and students from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic background.
- Preferred Experience:
Expertise in a closely related electrical and computer engineering discipline.
